Exposition light-rail section will stop short of Palms
The MTA Board has decided that the first stage of the Exposition light-rail line from Downtown to the beach will terminate near Wesley Street and National Blvd. in Culver City.
An early study had foreseen a big train station between Venice and Washington Blvds. with a parking lot at Exposition and Durango in Palms.
No decision has been reached as to whether the electric passenger train will continue west along the current right-of-way or along Venice Blvd.
